Teachers will be able to improve their professional skills and familiarize themselves with modern linguodidactic technologies in teaching. The project is implemented by the Department of Humanities of the Baikal School of BRICS. Applications for participation are accepted until May 26.

According to Svetlana Latysheva, Head of the Department of Humanities of the BS BRICS, this year the participants of the summer school will come from four countries - Mongolia, China, Uzbekistan and Tajikistan. External speakers will also join the project.

Russian language teachers willing to attend the summer school must pass a competitive selection process. As a result of the competition, 34 finalists will be selected. The training will be conducted in two waves - from July 1 to July 26 and from July 29 to August 23. The educational program is designed for 144 training hours.

The summer school also aims to immerse participants in Russian culture. In addition to educational sessions, the project introduces the landmarks and nature of Baikal region to teachers from different countries.

The graduates will receive certificates of professional training.

It should be noted that INRTU has a positive experience of cooperation with the Mongolian Association of Teachers of Russian Language and Literature. In 2022-2023, 56 teachers from Mongolia improved their qualifications at the summer school.
